Finding a good deal, what you can get for $0.99 cents ...

Hello again :)  ! Good day everyone. Today is a very hot day - in the high 90's. Yesterday was just as hot. You can't do much in a weather and heat like this. What I can tell you is to stay hydrated and drinks lot of water. Constantly drink water to avoid dehydration. You may also snack on fruits but surely drink plenty of fluids. Just wanted to share with everyone what I've been snacking on in this warm weather. Honey Dew! yeah, honey dew is rich with vitamin C, lowers blood pressure and very good to your skin. It is very sweet and delicious and above all, I got it for only $0.99 cents. Not $0.99 cents a pound but $0.99 cents for one honey dew. And of course I got it from the 99 cents store. Munching this on a hot afternoon, is HEAVEN!!!

Apart from that wonderful fruit of honey dew, I manage to buy something else for the kids and family use. Since its Friday, they have new delivery in store but I was told they don't have many new stuff today. But some how I manage to spot few items that is worth more than a $1.00 in other grocery stores and we use it all the time for family meal. Well, I upload pictures of what I bought hoping you guys could use it the next time you guys visit your nearest 99 cents store. If you have any tips on how to spend wisely of your $$, share with me. I am looking to find a place that maybe sell cheaper than what I can get here at 99 cents store. (although i doubt it :)), but hey, feel free to leave a comments. Till next time, have a great wonderful day ahead guys.

Instant Noodle - Indomie - Maggi - Top Ramen

Instant noodle. Does it sound familiar to you guys? Well, in my household, it does. Yeah, its not the healthiest but, it is very popular in Asian community here in the US and for some of us, its quick to prepare and cost very little...  :) ... Because its simple and quick to prepare, if you just know how to choose your extra add-ons (extra sauces, veggies etc.), it can be quite delicious. Well, of course you don't eat it everyday although sometimes I eat it 3 days in a row haha...that's not good!

Well, there's a lot of variation in the type of instant noodle (or ramen). Back home in Malaysia, I used to love this instant noodle brand Maggi. Their instant noodle is the best for my taste. But here in the US, I'm sorta limited to only the brands they sell in Asian markets. For me, I choose the brand that's imported from Indonesia or from Japan. I think they are all pretty much the same.
Instant noddle normally is the fastest and best solution when you have no idea what to have for lunch. A little bit of veggie and with a cracked of an egg, TAADAAA...you're basically done. And if you are into spicy hot soup, you could add some extra thai chili. Enjoy!

I need a new bowl........

Hi. Being a homemaker, I am sure you are all always cooking lunch or dinner meal for your family. And once you completed your cooking, you definitely need to place your dish in a dish bowl, especially if you are cooking the kind of dish with gravy. Why I chose to use the bowl in most of my dish for family meal? This is because, I only have one serving dish bowl that i find very versatile and I like it so much. The bowl is not too concave, not too high and the width and length size are just nice.

I started using this bowl, since the first time my husband bought it at Marshall 3 years ago. This bowl meant so much for me and have served me and my family in many numerous occasion such as to entertain our guests, whether for social gatherings or just small birthday party or simply serving lunch or dinner. I provide here, some pictures to show you guys what i meant, when i said I use the same bowl with variety of dishes at different times.

626 Night Market

I visited the the 626 Night Market recently on Saturday, June 8, 2013, the largest Asian night market in America, which located at the front Paddock Gardens of Santa Anita Park, Arcadia. It was quite a smooth driving from my place to the location. Although this is their second year hosting the event, it was my first time visiting them. After much rave and review, I certainly want to check out this place.

As we enter, we saw this gigantic box with the 626 sign as their trademark welcoming us. It was a long line to enter but it was moving and pretty fast. A lot of people taking picture for memory at this trademark signboard. It’s pretty cool the organizer of the event putting this at the entrance.  We line up to pay for the admission fee and here is how it is when we were there. It’s pretty long but they manage to get the line in fast. Quite a good job by the organizer so that people don't have to wait longer just to enter. As soon as we enter, I can see the craziness and how crowded it is.

Candy Crush Saga

Does anyone play this game? OMG! I am sooooooo addicted to it. Why is this game so addictive? I don't know. But somehow, when I'm hooked on it, I just can't stop. Even though I am not a compulsive gamer, I love this Candy Crush Saga game, love the design, love seeing all the candy get crushed, and I'm just thrilled and relief whenever a level is completed.

In the beginning, it seems easy because you just need to match at least 3 or more of the same type of candy to get power up to boost and destroy the candy. But as you get in higher level, they give you more difficulty to achieve and complete the level, which make it more challenging. That's when you really get addicted to it and want to accomplish the level to go to the next one.

I took a snapshot of my level that I'm stucked on for almost two days now. It's Level 79 and it's getting quite difficult for me to pass this. Afterdoing some research, I now know that making sure the bottom part that contain those chocolate, has to be the last to destroy. You need to clear up all the jelly on top first, otherwise, when they leaked out, they will overpower the board. Once the chocolate over powers, you'll get stuck and by the time you rush to destroy it, you are out of moves. And I finally passed this level.

Well guys, after few weeks (maybe months actually hihi :) ), I am now at level 324. And like how I told you before, I am really addicted to this game. There's a lot of hints and tips that you can get online if you have difficulties in going through your level. For example, if you are playing on your mobile, and you are out of live, without spending your money, you can retrieve back full lives by doing what they teach you, go here Candy Crush Tips or you can go here Free Lives on Candy Crush. In this link they gave you valuable tips that you can use to go further from your current level.

You can also visit this link here Candy Crush Help  to watch video on how they pass that particular level and they do have discussion among Candy Crush gamer thats what I call it  hihi :) but hey, it's fun, and yeah, sometime you need pure luck, and sometime it does need some skill and knowledge to finish the level that is very difficult. Anyway, I do come across at some level that make me feel so frustrated and almost give up, but referring to all this links help and I am very happy they exist. So, be sure to check them out and if you have more tips that we can use, don't hesitate to drop a comment, I would appreciate it.
